A staircase design could be traditional, contemporary or modern. Some of most aesthetically pleasing staircases are made from timber, concrete, steel, and even, glass. Given the choice of base material, one can choose from a wide range of stair layouts.
There could be a strait flight design or something composed of intricate curves. Some preferring rustic decor many go for spiraling staircase ensemble (with wrought iron baluster) or even wooden structure. Others may opt for sleek glass, fiber or steel constructions. The idea is stair design should be such that it is comfortable to use and does not pose of as an impediment to healthy living of the inmates.
Number of factors should be borne in mind for stair construction are, pitch line, pitch, string, outer string and more. The job of an interior designer is to combine and blend all of the above and produce artistic designed stairways that satisfy both looks and utility concerns.
