    StairSupplies makes stair parts from every type of wood that is commercially available. Many of the wood species that we use are common and you have likely seen them in other homes. Some of the wood species that we offer are uncommon. There is a wide range of possibilities within a wood species and some woods are not what they first appear. We highly recommend ordering a sample before you buy all of the products for your stairway. Our wood samples are large enough that you can see the grain, color and texture so that you can understand if this is the wood your want for your stairs. Most of our samples can be shipped quickly. Sometimes the more obscure wood species will take a little while to procure.
