Cove moulding is designed to go around the top of the starting step to give it a finished look which matches the cove moulding on other steps.  Standard size has a 9 1/2" diameter to fit the 8010 or 8011 starting steps. Large size has a 14 1/2" diameter to fit the 8650 starting step.
