Product Description

With gentle curves and grooves, the Colonial Turned Newels support your stair railing while providing early-American charm. Colonial Turned Newels are cost-effective and can vary slightly in size and shape. The 4010 Pin Top Short 3” Newel is used to attach directly to a handrail fitting. This allows you to add a decorative fitting to the start or end of your railing, or make smooth transitions with your handrail.

  • Simple, adaptable design

Mounting & Finishing Information

Turned Newels mount on a stair, landing tread, or floor using the Sure-Tite System. Finished Turned Newels will be coated with a Pre-catalyzed Lacquer to protect them against natural oils on skin.

    Hi Paul,
    We’re actually in the process taking new photos, and we’re going to have a set of photos with accurate dimensions. Here are the basic dimensions:

    Bottom Block: 15″
    Lower Turning: 5″
    Upper Turning: 19″
    Top Turning: 3″
