When this New Jersey homeowner wanted a chic staircase to match the rest of his lovely home in the outer suburbs of New York City, our FLIGHT team was ready to help. The beautiful custom stringer, topped with quarter-sawn clear-coated white oak treads, draws out the natural earthy tones of this living space. Paired with black aluminum cable railing posts, the entire look is elevated to a new level of sophistication. Most notably, the homeowner was able to install the project by himself with the help of a friend, proving once again that with FLIGHT floating stairs, timeless elegance and DIY aren’t mutually exclusive.
