Product Description

Perfect alignment, every time. Made from the most corrosion-resistant stainless steel in the industry, the Surface Mount Talon Spigot is designed with durability and safety in mind. A built-in Tilt Lock feature holds ½” or 9/16” glass panels in place until you’ve finished aligning each panel, making installation a breeze. No drill holes required. Just two spigots support up to a 4 foot panel of glass (glass sold separately).

This Surface Mount Talon Spigot is designed to be mounted directly the surface of your deck or balcony. With a sleek look, innovative design, and durable construction, Surface Mount Talon Spigots do the work for you.

Key Features

• Surface Mount Talon Spigot is made from 2205 Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance in any environment.
• Designed for ½” tempered or 9/16″ thick laminated glass. Does not require any holes to be drilled in the glass.
• Two talon spigots can support up to a 4′ panel of glass.
• Talon Spigots have built-in Tilt-Lock feature, which enables easier aligning of glass during installation.

Tilt Lock Technology

Perfecting the alignment of your glass panels can be a big headache. Even after installation, high winds can ruin the positioning – or worse, shatter the panels.

The Tilt Lock Technology found in the Surface Mount Talon Spigots gently grips the glass during installation. Adjust the panels until they are precisely positioned, then lock down the clips, securing the glass in place.

This revolutionary technology also helps relieve the trouble caused by high winds. Tilt Lock technology allows the glass panels to flex ever so slightly, maintaining panel alignment and reducing the risk of shattered glass. Even if weather causes the system to shift around, re-aligning the disrupted glass panels is a breeze.

Installing glass can be tricky. Keep the process simple with Tilt Lock Technology.

    Hi Mike,

We provide glass panels from 36″ to 42″ which covers the range of residential and commercial code in most places. Every municipality is different, however, and we cannot stress enough the need to verify with your local code official about the scope of work to be done in your project. If you have any additional questions, give our team a call at 1 (866) 226-6536.

Do these clamp to the glass or does the bolt go through the glass?

    Support
    2 years 22 days ago

    Sam, thanks for the question.

Our talon spigots make for an easier installation because there is no need to pre-drill holes in the glass. They will clamp on and hold firmly.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to call our customer support line at (866) 226 6536.

May this talon be used on stair threads (non-horizontal clamping)?

    Daniel, thanks for the question.

Our recommendation for angle glass installations is either post-to-post or stand-off pins.

If you want to call one of our specialists at (866) 226 6536 they can walk you through all the options we can provide to achieve the look you want.

    Hi Jason,

The finish on this product would be closer to a brushed stainless steel.

    Hi Mike,

Yes, this is an interior and exterior product. We do not recommend installation on concrete surfaces due to proximity of drill holes that can cause cracking. We recommend the entire package for safety and aesthetics. If you have more questions, give us a call at (866) 226 6536 and ask to talk with one of our glass specialists.

    Thanks,
