Expedited Delivery Terms and Conditions

Expedite Policies & Details:

Stair Supplies is a manufacturer of quality wood stair parts and cable railing systems. Wood is a natural material, and sometimes during the manufacturing process things go wrong that are outside of our control and this can cause delays. If you select expedited manufacturing and we are unable to hit the shipping date it is at Stair Supplies discretion to do one of the following:

1. Expedite shipping to make up for lost manufacturing time (this isn’t always possible). OR
2. Credit you back the portion of your expedite fee that we didn’t achieve (Your credit will be proportional to how many days quicker than standard we end up shipping your order.).

Cancellation Policy:
Stair Supplies orders cannot be canceled unless we’re informed within 24 hours of the order being placed. This policy includes orders that are shipped late. If your order is on a tight schedule and depends on being shipped within a certain time frame, you are responsible to call and verify that we are able to ship it according to that time frame (This applies even if your online order gives you a quoted number of days.).

Business days defined:
Monday – Friday are business days. If you place your order before 5pm EST on a Tuesday with an expedited 4 day lead time it will ship on the following Monday (the current day doesn’t count). If you place your order after 5pm EST on a Tuesday with an expedited 4 day lead time it will ship the following Tuesday (the following business day doesn’t count). The reason for this is to give us the necessary time to receive the raw material. In addition to weekends the following holidays do not count towards the lead time (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day).

Transit time once your order ships:
All wood & cable rail items ship from Goshen, Indiana, below are some ESTIMATED transit times.

East Coast: typically 2-3 business days. Midwest: typically 1-3 business days. West Coast: typically 4-5 business days.

Exceptions for large orders:
In some instances expedites on large orders aren’t possible, as we are limited by the time it takes our machines to run your order. In these instances we will contact you with options, which may include partial shipping a portion of your order so that you can begin installation while we manufacture the remainder of your order.
