What is the major diameter of the start easing for the 6010 style where it mounts on the newel? When mounted on the colonial newel will the start easing project past the foot print of the colonial newel and if so by how much?

Unfortunately, I don’t have the exact diameter. However, I checked with the gentleman who makes them, and he said it would overhang the top of the newel slightly. If you need the exact measurement please let me know, and I’ll see if I can track that down for you.

In regards to 7810 profile specifically, is this designed with a specific rake angle in mind? How do I ensure that this matches up with the angle of the handrail that it meets up with? Thanks!

    Thanks for the question Bill,

These are designed to be trimmed on site so you can match the angle of your railing.

Book shows a hole for the newel post but the website doesn’t. Does it have a hole or not?

There is a hole for the newel post.
